To growing a hanging tomato plant. There are many instructions online, to make hanging tomato plants from the buckets, but its looks very ugly.

I had also experience a very hard time with tomato bugs while plantation of tomato’s. In my home i had many plastic bottles, So instant of throw it I decided to recycle it And finally, I convert it into upside down hanging.

Benefit of Hanging Plants-

Foils pests:

When you grow tomatoes upside down, you don’t have to worry about worms or ground fungus. These are problems you don’t have to worry about with any tomato grown in a garden.

Maximize Sunlight:

Gardeners who lack an area that receives the required 6 – 8 hours of sunlight needed by tomato plants to fruit, will also benefit from using an upside-down tomato plant

Less Space:

When you Grow plant in a hanging Way you saved Ground space.

No Cage Needed:

Upside down tomato plant also do not need case. cages is usually required to help the support plant and manage the stress and weight of the fruit

Drawback of hanging tomato plant-

 It require Lots of Water:

Growing tomatoes upside down which will exposure the plant root ball. because the roots is at the top, open to the dyed air and wind due to the sun exposure. the water dried very quickly So You need to  give  lots of water  to the plant.

Stems faced lots of stresses:

Tomatoes have lots of weight as compared to the plant which need lots of sunshine to ripen the fruit . In an upside-down container, the bulk of weight of stems and leaves covers the fruit, Hence its puts lots of stress on the steam of the plant hence giving support it very much important.

Weight Issue:

Upside down tomato plant need to be hold with the combined weight of the planting, the plant itself and its fruit has a of  huge weight and one of the reasons why these occurs are more commonly used with cherry or grape tomato varieties.

How to Make A Hanging Tomato Plant At Home?

Material Required:

Plastic Bottle,  Small Cloth,  Small Knife

For Soil Making:

Coco-peat,Farm Soil,Fertilizer Like Cow Peat OR Vermicompost.

Also Required A Small Tomato Plant

If You not have a tomato plant you can grow it at home from the Seed.

Steps to develop it at Home.

Take A Plastic Bottle Min 1 (one) Liter to 5 (Five) Liter.

Cut the bottom using the knife.

Now take a small cloth piece and cut a hole in the central for taking out of the plant (Note: the cloth piece will help to stop soil from falling down from mouth of the bottle).

Now, we are ready to make a soil mixed (For that we Need Out of 100% percent 40% Cocopeat 50% Farm Soil and remaining 10% Fertilizer).

Now mix it well using some of water.

Now you need to insert the tomato plant from the cloth and then in the mouth of the plastic bottle. You can put it in plant first, or root first. This plant has a small root ball, so put it in root first. one other one I did have a much larger root ball, so I put it in plant first.

Now Filled the Bottle with the soil mix as in the Point Number (Four 4).

Now Hang the Bottle in the opposite’s direction (Anti-Gevity) Site
